Frequently Asked Questions
Why is my analysis failing?
Make sure your photo clearly shows the product label with ingredients visible. Ensure you have a stable internet connection, as the AI analysis requires an active connection to our servers. If the issue persists, try restarting the app and retaking the photo in good lighting.
Why does the app need camera access?
SnapSkincare AI uses your camera to photograph skincare product labels. The image is sent to our secure AI system to identify ingredients and analyze potential interactions. We do not store your photos beyond the analysis session.
Why does the app need photo library access?
If you tap "Pick from Gallery," the app accesses your photo library so you can select an existing image of your skincare product. This permission is only used when you choose to upload a photo.
Is my data private and secure?
Yes. Photos are processed in real time and are not permanently stored. We do not collect personal information such as your name or email address. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details.
